My Butler and a slightly dysfunctional blog post ...

So many labour and time saving devices around now days 

while you sleep you can be baking bread, rice, dinner, washing the clothes and 

even bidding on Ebay. Sometimes I feel like I have a butler! 

Lucky because I have no time to wait for the 2hour washing machine 

cycle and at this time of the year when the sun is off the yard by 12pm

the washing has to be on the line by 8am!

And so because I have no time left

 I've reverted to taking some photos of my favourite op shop

finds around the house... oh! and this tiny tiny snail that Bossy found and lost in the garden. 

Glad we got a photo of him.

I wear old clothes: Op shop finds: Wednesday

My wardrobe is full of old clothes. 

And today I added these beauties:

Black Silk Organza blouse, can you believe the beauty of it?
All that gorgeous fancyness. And in new with tags condition. 

Charlie Brown Wrap Dress, looks great on.

Amazing! Brand new Birkies and in my size too. 

Silk and Cotton top embellished with grossgrain ribbon! Love grossgrain.

and I love it!

oh and Bossy got the best black and white spotty 

skirt for dancing in but I'll have to show that tomorrow.

Op Shop Treasures!

Goodies from the op shop this morning.

A threesome of Frankie mags (.50c each), in almost new condition.

And guess what, three I've not read!

I can't part with my copies so I feel very pleased someone else can. 

Oh and a whole shelf of books for Bossy ($1 each).

All new, we are thinking they might be from a closed down A&R store.

All great titles, full series and things she's interested in. 

Cool huh?

And lastly this crafty book. 

Which by total coincidence has a 

crochet wedding slipper project. 

Well guess what I found in the op shop 

a few weeks ago!!

Aren't they the cutest thing. 

I had them ready to put on Ebay.

Glad I found where the idea came from. 

No one does stuff like this any more.

I remember a neighbour of ours when I was about 8 

used to make crochet stuff, swans etc. 

and stiffen them with sugar.

or something. 

It was fascinating to me.

Some op shop finds for today!

I can't believe the shoes, my absolute fab find of the day and a perfect fit! Just need a bit of a clean. I love the heel - looks like the Prada one's I dream about owning. These are red leather and made in Brazil !
