New Vintage Fabrics & Bread making no more.

In between panic attacks ;) I managed to get some new fabric up for sale. Check both the web site and ebay to see them all. I had a great couple of days with Sally on work placement 

and I learnt lots about looking 

after your customers and much much more. There is so much I want to get on with now that I'm back but I have to cool my heels and get though this course first. 

I was able however to clean out my ebay store, sometimes 

fabrics hang around even I get sick of looking at them. 

Just one more term left! wooooo hoooo!!!

Then it's exciting times. My plans are to get fit with Michelle Bridges, 

overhaul the website - I've never been happy with how it looks, that's changing,

sew!!! sew!!! sew!!!

and hang out with my Girl Eve. 

And I know this has nothing to do with fabric but I just need to say that I've given up on the home made bread 'experiment'. I believe it has actually stolen time and not saved any 

money. I am always making bread and it's a bit of a drag. The best thing about home made bread is that first hot slice with butter and honey and my waistline is proving that I'm a sucker for it. 

So it's back to bought bread for me.

Update but not of fabric and some vintage interiors.

As you may or may not know, I'm in the final throws of a Certificate IV at Tafe in 

Fashion Design. A whole world has opened up, a world I've wanted to be part of 

for a very long time. I'm flat out and apologise for not having much to say, well 

I have lots but no time to say it in. 

Running a small business, studying full time

and being (single) mother take up pretty much every second I have. 

But I keep saying 'it's only one year' and that year is almost over. I have a 

work placement to complete with Sally Smith, and three final big assignments. Then after the Christmas

holidays I'll be back to my usual stuff with lots and lots of ideas for sewing with and for 

selling vintage fabrics. 

Recently I did manage to get a bit done on the website, 

a bit of streamlining, it far from how I'd like it but that has to wait till next year. 

 I've removed most of the sub categories in the 

belief that you might more easily stumble on something new 

and interesting as you browse though all the fabric and I think people get bored of seeing

the same old thing.

But if I get feedback that it's not working, it's an easy change back

or I might go a completely different route.

to still be doing what I love and not feeling like it's work, 11 years down the track.

A strange Life: new fabric too

As a single parent when you get time off you make the most of it. 

I've been without BossyGirl for the last four days. 

That explains my frantic attempt to get stuck into jobs that have been sitting waiting for 10 years. 

Apart from one day here and there I've not had a break for 10 years. 

Not complaining. Not one bit. 

Some of my friends think I'm strange that I make so little 'me time'

but it doesn't worry me in the least. 

I also think I'm a bit strange.

I love my home, I love pottering about, sewing, sorting and re arranging. I love Bossy's company.

I actually feel like I have an almost perfect life (a bit more cash would not go astray). 

And so here for your enjoyment on Easter Morning is some more fabric I just put onto the website.
